As the Director of Operations at the IONA Journal of Economics, I am responsible for managing a range of activities to support our organization's mission of advancing knowledge in economics. One of my key responsibilities is to implement Google Analytics using API to improve the website's user interface (UI) and provide insights into user behavior.
In addition, I have led efforts to increase our social media engagement through Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Through my efforts, we have reached a wider audience, with our accounts' reach increasing by 1,702%, engagement by 11,200%, and followers by 50%.
My role also involves managing operations and finances, including grant applications and event planning for both external and internal communities. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, I was able to coordinate the first in-person event after two years, bringing our community together once again.

To ensure that our publications are of the highest quality, I have self-learned Adobe InDesign and Squarespace to format selected academic research papers, articles, and podcasts. This has enabled us to publish top-notch content that meets the standards of the economics discipline.
Finally, I have directed the hiring and onboarding of more than 50 team members for various roles, including the Volume VIII Editorial Board, writers for the IONA Exchange Magazine, researchers, and developers of the IONA Asks Podcast, and the Marketing Director.
Overall, I am proud of the work we have accomplished at the IONA Journal of Economics, and I look forward to continuing to support our mission of advancing knowledge in economics.
One example of my learning significance is my ability to self-learn Adobe InDesign and Squarespace to format and publish selected academic research papers, articles, and podcasts. By acquiring these skills, I have been able to contribute to the production of high-quality publications that meet the standards of the economics discipline.

Similarly, my efforts to increase social media engagement have contributed to the growth of the organization's online presence.
Overall, I believe that my commitment to learning and acquiring new skills has enabled me to make significant contributions to the IONA Journal of Economics.
